Spring Market On Canal Returns May 5 To Downtown Lemont
Mabel's Market owner Sommer Steele said the event always brings in new vendors along with old favorites.
LEMONT, IL — The popular spring Market on Canal will return May 5 to downtown Lemont, offering over 45 vendors, live music and food trucks.
The street markets are held in the spring and fall every year, and are hosted by Mabel's Market.
Mabel's Market owner Sommer Steele said the event always brings in new vendors along with old favorites.

"This year some of them include cross stitch with a modern twist, an adorable drink and snack cart, a vintage vendor with a mid-century modern flair, and a new pop-up clothing and home boutique that is launching her business at Market," Steele told Patch.
Other favorites who will return for the May 5 event include a trailer of antique treasures, a fresh flower stand and a handmade jewelry boutique out of a small bus.

Steele said there will also be a vintage pick-up truck available for free photo ops, two new music acts and margaritas and other drinks available from Matt's BBQ.
"Dope Sandwiches and The Pierogi Rig food trucks and Wally's Waffles, which was recently seen on the Food Network's Great Food Truck Race, will be serving food along with our neighbors Digs on Canal and Matt's BBQ," Steele said. "There is literally something for everyone!"
Entrance tickets can be purchased online, or at the entrances of the event on the day of. Kids 12 and under are free. Entrance is $5.
