Spring Semester SAT Prep Classes Offered At LHS

Students may choose between two seven-week programs, starting in January.

LEMONT, IL — In January, Lemont High School will offer two sessions of SAT test preparation for Lemont High School juniors and juniors from other area schools, according to a release from LHS.

The program, SAT 1600, is designed to familiarize students with the SAT. The course also reviews difficult concepts, specifically in English and math.

Students may choose between two seven-week programs, each of which consists of two-hour weekly sessions that run from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Lemont High School. The first session begins on Jan. 30, and will meet each Tuesday through March 12.

The second session will meet on Wednesdays from Jan. 31 through March 13. Students in both sessions will take a Practice SAT during the week of March 4; that week’s session will run from 6:30-9 p.m.

The course costs $345 for the seven sessions, which includes the textbook and Practice SAT, according to LHS.

The deadline to register for one of the school’s SAT 1600 programs is January 14 or once sections are filled. Students must register and pay online.
