Waste Management Offers Live Christmas Tree Disposal

LEMONT, IL — If you have a live Christmas tree that you still need to toss, Waste Management will pick up the trees through the last week of January on your regular waste pick-up day.

Trees should be free of decorations and lights, and should be four feet or less in length for removal, or it will not be picked up.

For those still in the holiday spirit, the Village's annual Lighting Up Lemont light display will remain on display through Jan. 31. You can also enjoy the lights at the annual Ice and Lights Festival set for Jan. 18 in downtown Lemont.
