Woodridge Man Dies After Fall From I-355 Bridge: Coroner

LEMONT, IL — A Woodridge man was pronounced dead Tuesday after "an apparent fall" off of the Interstate 355 bridge, according to the Will County Coroner's Office.

The man has been identified as Sven Carlson, 46, of Woodridge, and he was pronounced dead at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday near Old Lemont Road and Des Plaines River Road in Lemont, the coroner's office said.

Illinois State Police are investigating the incident.

An autopsy was performed on Tuesday, and the final cause and manner will be determined following autopsy, police and toxicological reports, the coroner's office said.
