Former Bears CEO Ted Phillips Sells Libertyville Home
The Libertyville home has sold for $1.199 million.

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — Former Chicago Bears President and CEO Ted Phillips has sold his Libertyville home.
The four-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom home at 125 Ellis Avenue sold for Phillips' asking price of $1.199 million on March 31. Phillips bought the home in 2008 for $900,000.
The Chicago Tribune reports Phillips, 65, placed the home for sale on Jan. 10 and it went under contract just five days later. Phillips retired from the Bears in February.

The 3,800-square-foot home has pillars and arches throughout and an updated kitchen with new quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances and a large work island with a prep sink. The home's family room has a stone fireplace and a luxurious primary suite with a stone fireplace, walk-in closet and private bathroom.
Other highlights include: an expansive finished basement with nine-foot ceilings, a huge media and game room, exercise room, private backyard and a library/office with French doors and custom built-in shelving, according to Redfin.
