The Chicago Family Business Council at DePaul University has joined with GCG Financial, making it the council’s sixth strategic partner.
Strategic partners help underwrite the council’s mission and support it in various ways, including hosting educational programs for the organization and providing their services and guidance to council members.
The Bannockburn, Ill.-based GCG Financial, a premier financial services firm, enhances the financial security of its clients.

Alan Levitz, CEO and president of GCG Financial; and Marcus Newman, vice president of GCG Financial, will be involved in the partnership.
As part of the partnership, Newman will discuss the Affordable Care Act at a CFBC workshop at 8 a.m. Nov. 14 at Northwestern College in Bridgeview. Newman will discuss how to calculate the maximum allowable cost for employees, and how the state insurance exchange will work and come into play for groups offering coverage to their employees.
