Armed Robber Targets Sub Shop, Police Say
Chicago police officers were scouring the area Sunday for a robber who reportedly walked into a Lincoln Park sandwich restaurant armed with a gun.
Police were still on the prowl Sunday night for a man who reportedly held up a Lincoln Park sandwich shop that morning.
The robbery took place shortly before 11 a.m. at Mr. Submarine, 1525 W. Fullerton Ave., according to a Chicago Tribune report. The suspect, who displayed a gun, fled on foot, CBS reported.
"There were no reports of anyone in the restaurant being injured and police had no information yet on what the robber got away with," CBS news said.
