LINCOLN PARKThose in Lincoln Park will soon have the option of dining at a new restaurant that touts its fresh, homemade pizza—oh, and great salads.

Oregon natives Clay Hamilton and Josh Iachelli are teaming up to open Homeslice at 934 W. Webster Ave., which is on the corner of Webster and North Bissell Street in the Sheffield Neighbors community. The building is the former home of Italian eatery, Enoca Piattini.

New Spa on Lincoln is First of its Kind in Chicago (PHOTOS)
A new spa in Northcenter is taking its mind and body treatments back to their roots—as in foreign practices that are thousands of years old.

It’s called Hamsa, an Ayurveda and yoga clinic, that opened on Feb. 16 at 3807 N. Lincoln Ave. Ayurveda is an ancient form of medicine from India that brings therapeutic yoga together with medicinal oils, herbs and altered diet.

Bucktown's 'Art of Chicken' Comes to Western (VIDEO)
After seven months of waiting, the fast-casual restaurant The Art of Chicken is officially open in Bucktown.
The unique, colorful eatery at 2041 N. Western Ave. dishes up grilled chicken and specialty sauces with a touch of Latin flair. Sam Kirk, the space’s designer, says owners were busy printing menus last week in preparation of their opening.

UPDATE: Bitter Closure Leads to New Restaurant at Former Pompei
After an unexpected closure in December, Pompei Pizza will soon be replaced by City Dough, a new Italian restaurant and bakery.
Located at 2955 N. Sheffield Ave., just steps from the Wellington Avenue Brown Line station, the 5,300-square-foot building is owned by Loukas Development, but the restaurant is being developed by a third party.

Time Out Sports Bar Takes Hiatus of Its Own
With snow on the ground, a local sports bar is getting ahead on spring-cleaning.
