Chatty 2-Year-old Kitty Needs Home
Looking for a friend to join you in the new year? We've got the purrfect pet.

Erin is a more than 2-year-old cutie with a slightly unusual fur pattern—she is primarily a tabby, but this beautiful girl also has little bits of tortoiseshell coloring here and there. How unique!
But what’s even better about her fur is how luxuriously soft it is. And her new family is in for a real treat, because this sweet girl just loves to be pet. She was originally brought into PAWS Chicago Adoption Center in Lincoln Park after her family left her behind.
Her rescuers had found her clawing at her home, trying to get inside but sadly, her owners had abandoned her. She later thought she had found a forever home but was recently returned to PAWS after her owner was unable to give her the attention and care she needed. So now Erin is there, waiting anxiously to meet her new ‘furever’ family.

Erin is very playful and curious, but she can be a little overwhelmed at first, and may need some time adjusting to a new home. However, once she acclimates to her new environment, Erin is ready for playtime. She really enjoys wands and other interactive toys that allow her to release some of her energy.
Erin is chatty and likes to talk, so her new owners should be prepared for a cat that can hold her own in a conversation. She can get over-stimulated, so she would do best in a home with a more experienced cat owner who will understand when she wants to play, snuggle, or seeks some space.

She would probably prefer to be an only cat, but may also like having another kitty at home that she could play with, as long as that cat would also respect her ‘purrsonality’ and let her be herself.
Come meet Erin and see for yourself just how special she is—we dare you not to fall in love!
Will you give her a chance?
