Chicago Marathon Countdown: Where to Watch in Lincoln Park
The Chicago Marathon is less than two weeks away. Check out the interactive map to see where runners will be trotting through Lincoln Park and around the city.

The Bank of America Chicago Marathon may kick off downtown at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 13, but as the runners head north, they'll be swinging through Lincoln Park.
Starting at 7 a.m., six neighborhood streets will be closed until around 11 a.m., stretching from Lincoln Park's southern border of North Avenue to its northern one of Diversey Parkway.Â
Runners will enter the Lincoln Park neighborhood at Lasalle Street and North Avenue, where they will continue heading North through the park and alongside the Lincoln Park Zoo. They'll then continue up through a section of Lake View and turn around on Addison Street.

They'll then run south down Clark Street, eventually hopping over to Sedgwick and then to North Avenue. They'll leave the neighborhood near North and Wells.
The tenth mile of the race will be run through Old Town.Â

Please note the following specific streets and times so you can be prepared for Sunday’s commute:
- N. Sheridan Road – Diversey to Belmont from 7 to 10:45 a.m.
- Inner Lake Shore Dr. – Belmont to Addison from 7 to 10:45 a.m.
- W. Addison St. – Inner Lake Shore to Broadway from 7 to 10:45 a.m.
- N. Broadway – Diversey to Addison from 7 to 10:45 a.m.
- N. Clark St. – Diversey to Webster from 7 to 11 a.m.

Mile 6 to Mile 8

The race continues north on Cannon Dr. from Fullerton Pkwy. to Sheridan Dr., north on Sheridan Dr. to Inner Lake Shore Dr., north on Inner Lake Shore Dr. to Addison St., west on Addison St. to Broadway St. and south on Broadway to Roscoe St.
Mile 8 to Mile 10
(Wheelchair: 7:47 a.m. | Runners: 8:08 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.)
Continues south on Broadway St. from Roscoe St. to Clark St., south on Clark St. to Webster St., west on Webster St. to Sedgwick St., south on Sedgwick St. to Menomonee St.
