Comings & Goings: Nordstrom, Flirty Girl and More

Whether you're looking to eat frozen yogurt or work it off, there are plenty of new businesses coming to the Lincoln Park streets to suit your needs.

Local Nordstrom lovers, rejoice.

The store's off-price retail division, Nordstrom Rack, is opening its third Chicago location here in Lincoln Park, the company announced this past week. The 40,000-square-foot, two-level building is scheduled to open in the spring of 2014, according to a news release from Nordstrom Inc.

The store will be located across the street from Whole Foods along the North Avenue corridor at a new retail development called Collection Anex. The strip will be anchored by Banana Republic, J. Crew and Victoria's Secret.

The new Lincoln Park Rack will be the retailer's third off-price location in Chicago, located just a few miles from the Chicago Avenue and State Street stores.

"We're fortunate to have the opportunity to bring another Nordstrom Rack to downtown Chicago and hope this new store will make it more convenient for our Lincoln Park customers to shop both our full-line and Rack locations," Geevy Thomas, president of Nordstrom Rack, said in the news release.
