Fare-Disputing Man Socks Cab Driver
Police say a drunken man recently caused quite a disturbance while getting out of a taxi in Lincoln Park.

Chicago Police officers arrested an out-of-towner earlier this month who they said attacked a cab driver over the price of a fair.
The 23-year-old man, of Arlington, VA, was reportedly getting out of a taxi around 2:40 a.m. Oct. 5 in the 1700 block of North Sheffield Avenue in Lincoln Park when he started the fight.
A representative from the Chicago Police Department's 19th District said he disagreed with the cab fare and began arguing over it before punching the driver in the face. The man then took off his belt and hit the driver with it, according to the police report.
