Film Crews Taking Over Lincoln Park Streets Tuesday

Parking restrictions are in effect Tuesday for portions of Lincoln Park where a film crew will be working, officials say.

The city of Chicago has issued street parking permits for a film crew that officials say will be working Tuesday in parts of both Lincoln Park and Bucktown.

Lincoln Park parking restrictions are in effect from 5:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the following streets:

  • Both sides of Lill Avenue, between North Seminary and North Racine avenues.
  • North side of Lill Avenue, from Sheffield to Seminary avenues.
  • North side of Lincoln Avenue, from Sheffield to Kenmore avenues.
  • West side of Sheffield Avenue, from Wrightwood to Lill avenues.
  • South side of Wrightwood Avenue, from Sheffield to 1049 Wrightwood Ave.
  • There will be an intermittent street closure on Lill Avenue between Seminary and Racine avenues from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Those at the Chicago Film Office did not immediately return phone calls seeking information on what the filming is for, but those on the cast of Chicago Fire are no strangers to the area. 

Last October, a Bollywood film crew came to the neighborhood and in April, ABC's show "Doubt" filmed in nearby Roscoe Village.
