Grass-Fed, Free-Range Meat Eatery Moving Into Vacant Webster Space

Has the fate of a vacant space at 1119 W. Webster been haunting you? We've got answers.

The long-awaited fate of the space that once housed the Webster Street Cafe is finally coming to light.

A grass-fed, free-range meat eatery named Range Restaurant will soon open at 1119 W. Webster Ave., Crain's reports.

"Ross Burton Construction Services is handling the interior, as it has for such restaurants as Baume & Brix, Grace and the two branches of Native Foods," the story says.

The publication has referred to the venture as a wine bar in past reports. It's a product of Orange owner Andrew Klemen.

Webster Street Cafe opened there about three years ago, but closed slightly more than one year later.
