The local restaurant, which boasts "the goods, big time fries and serious salads" is the second of the eatery's locations, with the first being in Joliet. Its menu includes a Chicago Dog, gyros, Italian beef … Oh, and the "Big Daddy."
If you tackle the Big Daddy burger in less than 30 minutes, you could become a "certified VIP Big Daddy," according to the Johnny's website.
"As a VIP Big Daddy, you get the perks of getting your victory photo on our website, Facebook and Instagram pages, VIP Big Daddy wristband, a Big Daddy T-shirt, and bragging rights as a certified Big Daddy," the site says, citing a #bigdaddychallenge hashtag.
The new neighborhood addition is within striking distance of DePaul University students and offers carry-out, dine in or online ordering.
