‘Last Friday’ Mayan Party Comes to North Side
It will be one of six special-edition Mayan celebrations in the nation hosted by T.G.I. Friday's serenading what could be the end of the world.

With the end of the Mayan calendar inching closer, restaurant T.G.I Friday’s is hosting a massive Mayan celebration in Wrigleyville to ring in what could be the last Friday ever.
The Mayan-themed party titled “Last Friday” will take place at the lot right next to Wrigley Field on the corner of Addison Street and Sheffield Avenue. It’s one of just six special-edition parties the restaurant will host in America, with the others in cities like Miami, Los Angeles and Washington D.C.
Friday, Dec. 21 corresponds to the last day of the Mayan calendar, a sign some believe marks the end of the world. So, just in case that’s the last Friday humanity will ever witness, T.G.I. Friday’s is ending the world with a bang.

The Mayan-inspired event is scheduled on Dec. 21 from 5-8 p.m.
