The Italian restaurant chain Olive Garden announced Tuesday it plans to open its first Chicago location the North Side, Chicago Real Estate Daily reports.

Slated to open in the Kmart parking lot at 3535 W. Addison St., construction at the 7,700-square-foot restaurant will reportedly begin this summer, Crain’s writes. It’s estimated the buildout will cost $1.2 million.

Lincoln Park Fire Leaves 1 Critically Injured
Another fire broke out Sunday night at 2626 N. Lakeview Ave., and this time, a man was critically injured, according to ABC 7 Chicago.
Fire crews responded to the still-and-box alarm at the high-rise around 7:15 p.m., reports CBS Chicago. Fire officials issued an EMS Plan 1, where upwards of five ambulances are sent to the scene.

A Ravenswood man admitted to possessing more than 2,500 videos and images of child pornography—some with children as young as one. The announcement came Friday afternoon from the Cook County Sheriff’s office.
Seamus Webb, 51, was arrested Thursday and charged with four felonies for disseminating and possessing child pornography. Police said the images included bestiality and bondage of minors.

Where Burglars Hit Most in Lake View (Heat Map)
Robberies may be the biggest concern in the 19th Police District, but when it comes to the actual number of incidents, burglaries are king.
In the past six months, the Lake View community saw 148 robberies, according to City of Chicago data. That’s compared, however, to the 237 burglaries the same area saw in the past six months.
