Lincoln Park Man Accused of Public Indecency at Library

A 62-year-old man was arrested for exposing himself at a library in Lincoln Square.

For the second time this summer, police arrested a man for public indecency at Sulzer Regional Library.

At about 2:30 p.m. July 29, officers responded to accounts of a man exposing himself at the building, according to a police report.

Officers charged Alan Snipes, 62, of the 600 block of W. Fullerton Ave., with one count of public indecency.

The Lincoln Park man was released on a $1,500 bond. A criminal investigation is still ongoing.

This is the second public indecency incident at the library in recent months. On May 14, police arrested a 57-year-old man for fondling himself on the premises.
