Lincoln Park Zoo Polar Bear Explores the Snow
Commuters may not have enjoyed the winter weather this past week, but the Lincoln Park Zoo's polar bear, Anana, certainly did. Watch the accompanying short video to see her playing in it.
As part of our their Polar Bear Awareness Week celebration, those at the Lincoln Park Zoo created a video of polar bear, Anana, enjoying the snow in her exhibit.
Polar bears are the largest land-based predator on Earth, zoo officials said, but their numbers are shrinking. The awareness week—it wraps up March 3—was held to help spread the word about their status in the wild.
