North Side Chefs Top Baconfest Line-up

Pigs will be in short supply as North Side chefs are gearing up for a celebration of bacon. 

Tickets for Baconfest, scheduled for April 20, are now on sale and the line-up of meat-loving chefs has been released. 

The list includes a Lincoln Square chef, two Lake View burger joints and Northcenter's Browntrout, among others. 

The festival is divided into two sessions of lunch and dinner, complete with cocktails. Tickets are $100 and a VIP option is available for $200. Baconfest is held at the UIC Forum, 725 W. Roosevelt Road. 

A portion of all proceeds to go the Greater Chicago Food Depository.
