On the Lincoln Park Docket: Tunes, Tail Wagging, 'Undiscovered Wines'
Looking for fun ways to unwind this week in Lincoln Park? There's no shortage of interesting events.

Bow Wow Luau
You could meet your new best friend this week—furry friend, that is. The Animal Welfare Leauge and PetSmart Charities are teaming up for a "Bow Wow Luau" in Lincoln Park this coming weekend, Aug. 10-11. Check out the Patch Events calendar for all the details.Tunes at the Zoo
Get over the Wednesday "hump" with Lincoln Park Zoo’s new event, "Locally Sourced," a chance to experience local music, art, beer and food in the zoo's Patio at Café Brauer. Every Wednesday in July and August, the venue will highlight a different artist, band, and farmer from the area. Lagunitas bottles and drafts will be on special during the events. Read more here.
Discover the "Undiscovered"
As sommeliers and self-professed “wine geeks”, those at WineBar, 1233 N. Wells St., have a passion to find wines that are "undiscovered". Attend this week's "Best Wines You've Never Heard of" in Plum Market's wine bar. Check out the Patch calendar for more information.
