Parking Notice: Local Streets to Avoid this Winter
While Lincoln Park isn't enforcing an overnight parking ban, be aware of these streets that are considered a "designated snow route," or you may be ticketed.

The Chicago Department of Streets and Sanitation has been working hard to ensure that the city is prepared for the first winter storm, and residents in Lincoln Park should be equally as prepared when parking.
An Overnight Winter Parking Ban will take effect around the City of Chicago beginning this Saturday through Monday, April 1 from 3 a.m. to 7 a.m., regardless of snow.
While the parking ban doesn't affect any streets in Lincoln Park, signage highlighting the ban in other parts of the city is permanently posted along 107 miles of Chicago's most critical arterial streets.
And although the overnight ban doesn't affect Lincoln Park, drivers should refrain from parking on any of the 500 miles of designated snow routes when two or more inches of snow has fallen. That includes virtually every major local thoroughfare.
