PAWS 36-Hour Adopt-a-Thon Starts Friday
PAWS Chicago kicks off a 36-hour holiday adoption event Friday morning. Find out where and when you can participate.
This holiday season, you can save a life.
That's the idea behind the PAWS Chicago 36-Hour Holiday Adopt-a-Thon, which starts at 11 a.m. Friday and doesn't wrap up until 11 p.m. on Saturday.
Hundreds of cats, dogs, kittens and puppies in need of warm, loving homes will be available to adopt at the life-saving event. It's hosted right here in Lincoln Park at the PAWS Chicago Adoption Center, 1997 N. Clybourn Ave.

Those interested in previewing pets that will be ready for new homes can check out the cats and the dogs listed on the PAWS website. General adoption rules apply, and animals will be available on a first come, first served basis.
