Suspect Sexually Abused 2 Girls on Red Line, Cops Say

Chicago Police are searching for a man who they said sexually abused two juvenile girls who were aboard area Red Line trains.

Local police are reminding commuters to be extra vigilant after two separate sex abuse incidents were recently reported on Red Line trains.

Both incidents involved the same offender, police said. They occurred April 11 around 7 a.m., according to an alert sent Wednesday afternoon by the Chicago Police Department's 18th district, which includes parts of Lincoln Park.

"In each of those incidents, the offender approached a juvenile female victim while traveling on the CTA Red Line and touched the victim's legs inappropriately while also attempting to place his arms around the victim," the alert said.
