Popular Blowout Bar Heads to Lincoln Park
Ever been to a salon exclusively to have your hair dried? The concept may seem a bit foreign, but it's a craze that's becoming more and more popular across the U.S. Soon, the service will be available right here in Lincoln Park.
A chic new chain of blow drying bars is making its way to Lincoln Park.
That's right—A place to get your hair dried before a night on the town. The company, Drybar, —currently in Los Angeles, Dallas and New York—is setting up shop in the 1500 block of North Kingsbury Street, according to a Sun-Times Media report. It should open within the next six months.

Chicago has two blow dry salons—Blowtique and Blow-by-Blow—but the concept hasn't caught on here like other cities (blow outs at both of these local blow dry salons are also priced at $35).
Drybar's owner told the publication that she feels the neighborhood would embrace the salon, which won't be offering cuts and curls. It's mantra? "No cuts. No color. Just blowouts."

"Our philosophy is simple," the Drybar website says. "Focus on one thing, and be the best at it. For us, that’s blowouts."
It's salon menu includes options like the "Dry-on-the-fly", a $75 service that includes the stylist coming to your home so you don't have to leave.
