Red Line Stabbing Suspect in Custody, Cops Say
Chicago police said Tuesday they were questioning a man in connection with a Monday night stabbing at a Red Line stop.

Police had a man in custody Tuesday who they said may be the culprit in a Monday night stabbing at a nearby Red Line stop.
The 33-year-old suspect had not yet been charged Tuesday morning and therefore, had not been identified by police. Pending charges were in connection with an attack that occurred shortly after 8 p.m. the night before on the North/Clybourn CTA platform.
The station is located in the 1500 block of North Clybourn Avenue, slightly south of Lincoln Park's North Avenue border. There a man approached a 35-year-old man and stabbed him in the chest, police said.

A Chicago Police News Affairs officer said the victim was stabbed multiple times, though he couldn't confirm an exact number.

The victim was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center where he was listed in stable condition on Tuesday.
