Reports: High Schooler Burglarized DePaul Dorms
Police arrested a teenager this week who they say was burglarizing unlocked dorm rooms at DePaul University.

An Old Town teenager made his way through dorms at DePaul University this past week, stealing a laptop and walking in on a half-naked student, according to reports.
DNA Info Chicago cites Cook County Circuit Court records in its report of residential burglary and battery charges against DaQuan Mayfield, 18.
The Lincoln Park High School student is accused of walking into an unlocked dorm room Tuesday at the university's Francis X McCabe Hall, 900 W. Belden Ave., and stealing a computer. Police say he also shoved a student while trying to get away.

With the computer in hand, Mayfield allegedly surprised a second female student getting dressed in her unlocked dorm room, exclaiming, "Sorry, wrong room," when he opened the door to her bedroom.

Mayfield's bail was set at $90,000, according to booking records attained through the Cook County Sheriff's Office. That means he would need to post $9,000 in order to be released.
He's due in court April 23.
