To celebrate the inaugural Salsa at the Zoo in July, Band Son de la Habana and dance instructors from around Chicago were up with the animals bright and early "getting everyone’s musical juices flowing," zoo officials said.
“If tonight’s event is half the party this morning was, Salsa at the Zoo goers are in for a treat,” community relations manager Alex Gallegos said, that day. “This new event is a chance to get exclusive, after-hours access to the zoo, and it is something a little different for Lincoln Park Zoo to try out, too.”
