Tanaka Ramen Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting

Tanaka Ramen will officially celebrate their Grand Opening in Lincoln Park on Wednesday, July 26. Commencing with a ribbon cutting held by the Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce at 4 p.m., the ramen restaurant will offer all dining guests buy one, get one free izakaya dishes from 4-9 p.m. Tanaka's lengthy izakaya menu includes tempura brussel sprouts, pork gyoza, takoyaki, three different types of stuffed steamed buns (soft shell crab; chicken; pork), karaage chicken, fried oyster, shrimp shumai, arabiki sausage, seaweed salad, agedashi tofu, and more.

Tanaka Ramen offers authentic Japanese cuisine, Tea Ninja bubble teas, and the brand new addition of beer, wine and sake. Proprietor Jennifer Jiang, who also owns Tea Ninja, has renovated the restaurant space with chic decor, custom-created murals and Japanese calligraphy. Jiang is eager to share her love for Tanaka's menu, including izakaya, ramen, rice bowls, Tokyo curry bowls and dessert. She's especially proud to showcase an extensive list of Tea Ninja selections from her bubble tea shops in Lakeview, Rosemont and Aurora.

The recently added boozy beverage program features Japanese beer, dry and sweet sake selections, and wine by the glass and bottle. Non-alcoholic offerings, in addition to the bubble teas, include Ramune Japanese soda, wasabi ginger ale, Royal milk tea, Calpico original and CBD teas. Tanaka Ramen is open daily from 11 a.m.- 9 p.m.
