Tantalizing Alinea Video Gives Taste of Newest Menu

The renown Lincoln Park restaurant published a captivating video this week offering potential diners a glimpse of its most current menu items.

A cello, a bursting chocolate sphere and detail-oriented camera work combine to introduce the latest of Alinea's ever-changing menus.

Published on Wednesday, the YouTube video filmed by Christian Seel showcases the restaurant's current offerings which include burned morels, steelhead roe, otoro and black truffle.

Tickets must be purchased in advance for a meal at the famed Lincoln Park restaurant, 1723 North Halsted St. They are priced at around $250 per person.

Alinea strives to combine "food with science and art," according to its website, Recently it was—once again—the only restaurant in the city to earn a three-star Michelin Star rating, which, according to Michelin, rewards "exceptional cuisine where diners eat extremely well, often superbly.
