The pair are accused of attacking the woman in Lincoln Park and taking off with her purse Tuesday.

CHIAGO, IL — Two teenage boys have been charged in attacking and robbing an elderly woman in Lincoln after relatives saw identified them from a security camera video image released by Chicago police. The teens — ages 16 and 17 — were charged as juveniles, and they each face counts of felony robbery of a victim older than 60 years old and aggravated battery of a victim older than 60, the Chicago Tribune reports.

According to police, the mugging occurred at about 5:18 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12, in the 1400 block of West Lill Street. The teens are accused of pushing the woman and taking the purse she was carrying, police said. No information was given about whether the woman was injured in the attack.

Police released an image taken from a security camera in the area of the incident in an alert Wednesday. It showed two males running with one of the suspects carrying what looks to be a white purse.
