This Week's Pet: Cuddly, Playful Cat

Breezy had a rough first year of life but is now safe and sound at PAWS, looking for his perfect "fur"ever home.

Are you looking for all-around great guy?

Breezy may just be the purr-fect feline friend that you’ve been searching for. A fun, well-mannered, affectionate and outgoing boy, this 1-year-old kitty is ready for his forever home.

Breezy was brought to PAWS Chicago's Adoption Center in Lincoln Park after he was found living in the parking lot of a hotel. He was so hungry that he probably had to fight with other cats for his next meal, according to PAWS volunteers. But this boy is anything but a fighter—he has an easy-going, sweet side that visitors can't deny. Unfortunately, he did contract the FIV virus while he spent his time outside.

His rescuer said that he was so hungry that for the first five months she fostered him, he ate eight cans of wet food daily! Today, Breezy eats a lot less—he no longer has to worry about his next meal.

A PAWS staff favorite, the black-and-white kitty loves to cuddle and play with catnip toys. Most of all, he enjoys being around people all day long.

Since Breezy loves to play so much, he’d get along great with a dog or other active, FIV+ feline friends that would be nice to him. When playtime is over, he loves to cuddle.

Breezy has the purr-fect personality because he’s playful, alert, engaged, interactive and fun. Are you looking for a friendly feline that is so full of life and love? Meet Breezy today!
