This Week's Pet: Cuddly Kitty Rescued From Pound
If you're looking for a feline companion, consider Justice. This young cat commands attention, has a great demeanor and bonds easily with people.
Justice is a sweet, 2-year-old kitty who can’t get enough of playtime, affection and love.
She was brought in as a stray to Chicago’s Animal Care and Control where PAWS Chicago rescued her. If she stayed much longer at the city pound, her fate would have surely been grim.
She came into PAWS with a medical condition that caused both her eyelids to roll inward and her lashes to rub directly on her cornea causing her much discomfort.

Chicago veterinarians fixed her eyes and she is as good as new. She’ll always have some scars, but she doesn’t let that stop her from being the sweet and cuddly cat that she is.
Her foster families have said once she settles into a home, she is extremely cuddly and while she has short bursts of playfulness, she is very laid back most of the day.

They also said she bonded with her human companions very quickly. She does get jealous when other cats try and take attention away from her; she loves keeping it all to herself.
Although she’s extremely affectionate, she likes to come to you. She also likes to “talk”; when she meows it sounds more like a squeak or chirp.
She loves to spend part of her day relaxing, but will also chase laser lights, play with wand toys and invent funny imaginary games like running around and pouncing on things that aren’t there.
A beautiful girl inside and out, Justice will surely bring love and smiles to you every day.
Will you give her a chance?
