This Week's Pets: 'Purrty' Pair of Best Friends

If you are looking for two energetic, affectionate kitties who just love attention and affection, look no further than to Kent and Caroline.

Kent is a handsome, all white 6-year-old male, with beautifully unique eyes—one is blue and one is green. Those eyes are only for his companion cat, Caroline. She is a 2-and-a-half-year-old black and white female, and she's Kent’s best buddy.

They were originally adopted from PAWS Chicago Adoption Center in Lincoln Park about a year and a half ago, but their owner brought them back because she felt they needed a home with a more experienced cat owner who better understood their needs and feline “purrsonalities.”

You see, Kent and Caroline are very active kitties who just love to play all day and snuggle with their owners all night. Caroline is a real sweetheart who just can’t seem to get enough affection—she enjoys being with people, and absolutely loves to cuddle and snuggle.

Her previous owner also said she was very athletic, and loved chasing laser pointers and climbing scratching posts. Her new owners should make sure to have one of each of those on hand so the fun can begin as soon as she gets home.

Caroline’s best friend, Kent, is also very energetic, and really enjoys interacting with people. Kent can be a real sweetheart, and when he’s not cuddling with Caroline, he will most definitely be cuddling with his new owner.

He has a lot of energy, and a few extra pounds, so he’s looking forward to getting settled in to a playful, active home. Kent and Caroline would do best in a home with a more experienced owner who understands their need to just be themselves.

And with a pair as great as these two, you wouldn’t want to have it any other way.
