Vote Early, Often for Lincoln Park High School

School and government officials are rallying behind Lincoln Park High School, which is in the running for a grant that could shed light on its performing arts program—literally.

A bright future is on the line and Lincoln Park High School is up to bat.

School officials are looking to the community for support in a grant contest where the winner will be decided by votes. The school has been nominated for The Clorox Company's "Power a Bright Future" grant. That means it has a chance to win up to $50,000 toward renovating lighting in the its auditorium.

Local officials, including 43rd Ward Alderman Michele Smith, are rallying behind the cause. She posted a blurb about the contest in her latest newsletter, asking that residents "vote early, vote often."
