311 Training To Be Held In Uptown
The City of Chicago will hold its first training for the new 311 system on the North Side this week.

CHICAGO — Training for the new 311 system will be held in the city's Uptown neighborhood on Thursday, Dec. 20. The new system will have new features and functions and will even look different, the city said. Tests have been conducted throughout the city over the past few months.
The training will be held at the Bezazian Library, 1226 W. Ainslie St., and you don't have to register to attend.
Sessions will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.; or 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., and will teach the following information:

- Submitting non-emergency city service requests;
- Checking the status of 311 service requests;
- Signing up for status alerts;
- Exploring other 311 service requests in your neighborhood;
- Discovering the types of city services available to you.
