The workshop, which was scheduled for Wednesday, has been bumped until Feb. 8.

CHICAGO — A property tax workshop for North Side residents has been rescheduled. Originally planned for Wednesday, Jan. 30, the event will now be held on Friday, Feb. 8, Ald. Pat O'Connor announced in a notice to residents.

Homeowners who need help applying for property tax exemptions are invited to stop by the 40th Ward service office — 5850 N. Lincoln Avenue — on Feb. 8 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Cook County Commissioner Bridget Gainer's staff will be on hand to answer questions and help with the application process, O'Connor said.
