Construction Causes Lane, Street Closures In Bowmanville
People's Gas has begun preliminary infrastructure work in the neighborhood.
CHICAGO — People's Gas has begun preliminary infrastructure work in Bowmanville. Street closures and lane reductions are required to perform the work on Western and Berwyn.
Beginning this Monday, Western was reduced to one lane in both directions from Farragut to Berwyn.
Eastbound Berwyn is closed from Western to Bowmanville.

Streets will be closed 24/7 until the work is completed, Ald. Pat O'Connor said in a notice to residents.
People's Gas anticipates the installation will take approximately three or four weeks to complete, the alderman said.
