Donate Food, Mittens in Winter Ward Drives

Both Ameya Pawar and Patrick O'Connor are having winter drives to help needy residents in Wards 47 and 40.

Help those in need this winter by donating food and warm clothing through local ward offices, covering Lincoln Square and the surrounding neighborhoods.

Monday began the annual 40th Ward Food Drive.

Until Dec. 17, residents can drop non-perishable food items by the ward at 5850 N. Lincoln Avenue. It’ll be open from 9 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, and 9 to 7 p.m. on Monday and Thursday.
