Elizabeth Chef Dishes on Lower Ticket Prices

The foraging restaurant that opened in September has been gaining momentum throughout Chicago and now, it's cheaper to eat there.

Restaurants that require tickets for dinner are often associated with delicious meals at high prices.

But one chef said the ticketing system—also used in top-rated Alinea and Next—has actually caused her to lower prices.

Chef Iliana Regan opened Elizabeth in September and since then has been receiving rave reviews from top food critics.

Over the winter, Regan lowered prices by $5 to $20 to start, Grubstreet Chicago reported.

“…It's really all from the ticketing system that I can lower the prices to this level and be sure that we'll make a living, my chefs will make a living,” she told Grubstreet.
