Iliana Regan’s foraging menu for Elizabeth earned her a nomination for Best New Restaurant. She's also up for Breakout Chef of the Year.

Julius Meinl Coffee Bar and Patisserie, on Ravenswood Avenue, was nominated for the Best New Sweets Shop. Just north of the coffee place is Metropolitan Brewing, a fellow nominee for Best Chicago Microbrewery.
That rounds out the neighborhood spots that could earn citywide honors. Now get out there and start voting!
