Free Treats Come with Delayed Yogurt Square Opening

The frozen yogurt shop in Lincoln Square, which was supposed to reopen in early February and then last weekend, has set a March 1 opening date.

Almost a month later than predicted, Yogurt Square will reopen Friday and tempt residents with free frozen yogurt. In December, brown paper appeared over the windows of the business, leaving froyo lovers to wonder what happened to the shop at 4701 N. Lincoln Ave.

Yogurt Square will open on Friday and give away free frozen yogurt, according to a post on the business's Facebook page

Owner Ali Ozturk did not immediately return requests to confirm the post, but told Patch in January he was remodeling the store. Along with physical changes, Ozturk said customers could expect four new flavors and more than 45 toppings.
