Graffiti Removal Tops Most Requested City Service in Lincoln Square
Find out how many city services requests were made in the neighborhood in 2012, and what topped the list.

Lincoln Square residents made more than three graffiti removal requests a day, according to city service data for 2012.
Graffiti removal, along with tree trimming and rodent baiting, were among the most-requested city services in the neighborhood.
More than 1,400 graffiti removal requests were submitted during the year, with most occurring on buildings and in alleys. Tree trimming was the second requested service with 660 reports.

Patch used the available 311 Service Requests on the City of Chicago Data Portal, and found how many requests residents submitted in Lincoln Square. Duplicated claims were eliminated from the data.
Vacant buildings had the least amount of 311 submissions with 39 reports.

In total, Lincoln Square residents made 4,137 requests online or by phone to the city’s 311 system in 2012.
