Lillstreet Adds 2,000 Square-Foot Loft to Art Facility
The Ravenswood center is offering professional development programs and classes in its new space.

Lillstreet Art Center is expanding to include a special events and meeting venue, called the Lillstreet Loft. The announcement came Thursday from the center, which features a studio, gallery and art classes.
The Loft, at 4437 N. Ravenswood Avenue, will be a 2,000 square-foot room reminiscent of an artist’s studio.
The space is available for rentals, and will host the center’s new professional development workshops. Called Ignite, the program will focus on building trust and communication in staff.

"This new endeavor is a natural evolution of our mission to support creativity, and allows us to employ more teaching artists," Bruce Robbins, founder and CEO of Lillstreet Art Center, said in a release. "Arts and business programs have existed within our offerings for years, and we are excited for this expansion into a dedicated space for professional development programming.”
Professional teaching artists will lead the workshops, which come in half or full-day sessions up to 100 people.
