Lincoln Square Man Identified in Fatal Motorcycle Accident
The 33-year-old man who died after hitting a parked car on Montrose Avenue is a Lincoln Square resident.

Police have identified the man who died in a motorcycle accident early Wednesday morning near Welles Park.
Adam Whitson, 33, is a Lincoln Square resident from the 4600 block of North Lincoln Avenue, the Chicago Tribune reports.
He was pronounced dead at 5:10 a.m. at the Advocate Illinois, Masonic Medical Center, according to the Cook County medical examiner.

Whitson was riding his motorcycle around 4:45 a.m. on Wednesday when he hit a two-door car parked on the 2200 block of West Montrose, police said.
The collision happened after the man was riding a motorcycle westbound on Montrose and began merging into the right lane.

Whitson was thrown from the bike, and while police can’t confirm if the man was wearing a helmet, one was found on the ground at the scene, according to witnesses.
Police say they are still investigating the accident.
