Mark Your Calendars: Ravenswood ArtWalk Dates Announced
A local festival of creativity is back again, and art enthusiasts can plan their weekend around these dates.
Now in its 12th year, the Ravenswood ArtWalk is a celebration of art and history in the neighborhood.
In 2012, festival-goers saw more than 150 artists on Ravenswood between Irving Park and Lawrence avenues. Taste buds weren't forgotten as Begyle Brewery and Brew Camp had stops along the way.
Pieces were be placed in buildings and themed tents ranging from housewares to fashion. The route itself reduced from two miles to one last year, but the amount of art increased greatly, organizers said.
