Special Ed Assistant Earns February Top Employee at Elementary School
Charita Taylor, a special education class assistant at McPherson Elementary, is the school's employee of the month.
Charita Taylor of McPherson Elementary has a few more dollars in her pocket after setting an excellent example at the school. The special education assistant earned $250 for being February's employee of the month.
The Friends of McPherson is a nonprofit organization that supports the school and chooses an employee each month to receive $250 for exemplary work.
That group selected Taylor after she was nominated by Librarian Janise Wriddle.

“I nominate Charita Taylor because of her willingness to assist anyone in the building, her work with all of the students, and the after-school program she initiated in reference to helping girls develop their self-esteem. I think the work she does is awesome!” Wriddle told the Friends.
