Murder Suspect Wanted for Shooting Wife, Police Say

Three suspects are on the Chicago Police Department's most wanted list for Lincoln Square and Ravenswood. The 20^th District, which covers the area north of Lawrence Avenue, regularly maintains the list and updates it as suspects are apprehended. 

Richard L. Richmond, 50, is wanted on suspicion of shooting his wife with a handgun. Police said he entered the apartment of his estranged wife in violation of a restraining order and shot her in the face.

Richmond is described as a black male, about 5 feet, 6 inches and 160 pounds.

Chicago police urge residents to call the Wanted Tipline at 312-747-8384 and warn against attempting to apprehend suspects individually.
