New Chef at Fork Adds Farm-to-Table Concept
Tim Cottini, the chef at Fork on Lincoln Avenue, is bringing a farm concept to small plates.

With constant praise for new Lincoln Square fine dining restaurants like Goosefoot and Elizabeth, it’s easy to overlook those eateries that have been in the neighborhood for years.
That’s why Tim Cottini, the chef at Fork, asked Grubsteet Chicago to check out his restaurant. Cottini has been at Fork since the middle of 2012.
The chef, formerly of North Pond and Café Ba-Ba-Reeba, didn’t disappoint. Food writer Michael Gerbert called Fork, “the best farm-to-table restaurant you drive right past.”

Fork changed its name in 2011, going from the gastropub Fiddlehead to its current concept of farm-to-table. Gerbert recommended the winter salad with roasted pork belly, squash and gingerbread chunks.
