A New, Chicago-Based Way to Exercise at Work
University of Chicago classmates have developed Cubii, and under-the-desk elliptical machine to help battle the cost of sitting all day.
It’s well-documented that sitting all day at work can have a negative impact on health.
Now, a University of Chicago graduate and a couple of his classmates are fighting that with their new product, Cubii, an under-the-desk elliptical machine.
According to The Huffington Post, 23-year-old Arnav Dalmia got an office job after graduating from U. Chicago and quickly noticed he was becoming lethargic and tired from sitting at work all day.

He’ll need to kick it into high gear now, as a Kickstarter project to raise money for Cubii easily surpassed its goal of $80,000, bringing in $293,712 from more than 1,000 supporters.
